EFFORTS 2nd annual American Lung Association of Washington’s Walk for Asthma in 2005 inspired more folks to join us on the Walk this year, including a 89 year old lady with a pace maker. My 89 year old Mother is walking and triking this year for the EFFORTS team in the American Lung Association of Washington’s Asthma Walk. Mom has a Pace Maker and she won't be able to walk the distance but she can trike her walk. She thinks my delta trike is the “Cat's Meow” (?!) and way more fun than being pushed in a wheel chair. We’ll bring my delta recumbent trike for her to ride and be pushed up hills. Please join us for a fun time and good cause on EFFORTS team on the American Lung Association of Washington's 2006 Walk For Asthma. My hope is that we will get a full team of EFFORTS members and COPDers out this year. (I set a goal of 50 walkers) .. Not ambitious enough? What do you think? Sharon O’Hara |
