EFFORTS Meets Loni Anderson
| Ms. Loni
Anderson, best known for her role in WKRP in Cincinnati, has teamed
up with renowned COPD researcher Dennis Doherty as well as the American
Lung Association and the National Lung and Health Education program
traveling on a
21 city tour to try to bring more awareness to the affects of COPD. Ms. Anderson lost both of her
parents to COPD. As she has said in many
interviews, her life could have been more fulfilling if her parents had
been alive to enjoy it.
The picture below is from Oct. 9, 2003 when her tour brought her to Kansas City. As you can see by the photo below, our own president and janitor, Mr. Gary Bain, really enjoyed her visit as did his daughter which was celebrating her birthday that day. Great picture, Gary!! * * * |
