25)  The more I research and interact with this group, the more I am convinced that the tip of the iceberg is barely visable in terms of cause, aggravation and treatment of the various types of COPD.  There are so many different professional opnions available that it is clear that no one is absolutely certain what the full cause and treatment should be.  Consequently, I think we have to take a very active role in our own care, oberving closing changes in symptoms, medication effects etc.  I have experimented in the past with natural remedies (as a supplement not replacement) for treatments of other conditions and am doing the same now.
