Jim Watson was a member of the EffortsExecutivesBoard  and worked hard to find research for a cure for Emphysema. He was always there to help members whenever he was needed and he soon became known as the "Reference Desk Manager" of Efforts.  Jim joined Efforts shortly after the list was formed and has devoted his life to it's cause.  In a letter to the Board he says "You know how much I think of you. I may not be able to show it very much how I feel about Efforts because of my health but it is my life". In another letter he says "I am real sick but what hurts me the very most is not being able to get back to the group and help like I use to be." He wanted everyone to know that when he became an Efforts Angel, he would hug all the other Efforts Angels and tell them we missed them and loved them. Jim, as you sit at the Reference Desk in Heaven, please know that all you have done for us will not be in vain. We love you and will miss you so very much.
