HUBBARD — Thomas A. Brewer, 69 years old, of
Hubbard, died at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Forum Health Northside
Medical Center.
He was born March 9, 1937, in Warren, the son of the late Richard H. and Mary
Elizabeth Dunlap Brewer.
Mr. Brewer retired from the U.S. Air Force. He served in Vietnam and was an
aircraft commander. He earned the Fairchild Trophy for Navigator in B-52. He
created Cub Scout Troop 369 at Clark AFB in the Philippines. The Cub Scouts in
his Troop 369 were awarded the World Scout Crest Badge. He trained as a B-52
navigator at Castle AFB in California. He retired from the military after 20
years of service.
Survivors include his wife, the former June Joiner, whom he married March 5,
1976; two sons, John and Tad Brewer, both of Lincoln, Neb.; three stepsons,
Russell Cameron of Arroya Grande, Calif., Randall Cameron of Santa Maria,
Calif., and Robert Garrett of Arroya Grande, Calif.; a granddaughter, Kelley
Nichole Cameron at home; three grandchildren, all of Arroya Grande, Calif.; one
sister, Barbara Ann (Chuck) Daley of Boise, Idaho; and several nieces and
nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Carl W.
Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren, Ohio, where services will take
place at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Holbrook officiating.
